Untitled Document Crunk! is a brand new part of the Power set up and its aim is to work the world's best cutting edge music. We've got off to a good start - the first two promos that we mailed out were LFO's 'Freak' on Warp and Seelenluft's 'Manila' on Back Yard. Both have set the standard for all future projects.

'Manila' currently resides at #1 in the Buzz Chart (Update 13.8.03), #8 in the Cool Cuts (9.8.03), has received universal praise from Pete Tong to Mixmaster Morris and has just picked up it's first day time Radio 1 play from Jo Whiley (8.8.03).

LFO's 'Freak' has also featured in both the Cool Cuts & Buzz charts and enjoyed a #1 in the Zzub Chart (Update 30.7.03). We also seen amazing feedback from the likes of Andrew Weatherall, Tiga, Trevor Jackson, Ewan Pearson & Mark Moore amongst others.

Since those mailouts we have started work on various projects (and have work in the pipeline) from Nelle & P. Diddy (Bad Boy), Fanny Pack (Tommy Boy), Sinema (Island), Chicks On Speed (City Slang), Dub Pistols (Distinctive) and plenty more.

The objective is to bring in what we consider the 'coolest' music - now it can be of any genre be it electro, techno, nu jazz, hip hop or deep house it's just got to have that extra something!

All the jobs are under taken in an up front manner - we don't push our DJs to chart certain promos we just push for honest feedback. This way you will receive an accurate picture of how well your promo is going down in the clubs.

On top of the club mailouts we also offer a specialist radio service. There are no extra costs involved we just mail out to the relevant radio jocks & producers as part of the club mailout.

Untitled Document Power took the top spot in the Music Week club chart again this week with the remixes of Inner City "Big Fun" on PIAS. The remixes supplied by Phil Kieran and Phillipo Moscatello have been creating a buzz for awhile now,and have established themselves as firm favourites with many of the big jocks over in Ibiza. It narrowly beat Jurgen Vries "The Wilderness" on Direction which came in at No 2 this week (there was one point between them!) having crept up from No 3 last week, which just goes to show how many DJs are sticking behind this monster and ensuring that it stays up the top.

This week the buzz continues over Inner City "Big Fun" which could well be set for a second week at No 1.....yes it does happen and this track could well do it! Alternatively Jurgen Vries looks set to stay near the top of the chart for a third week as well, so it could be a simple reversal of last week's fortunes, although both face stiff competition from Polariod "So Damn Beautiful" on Decode, or Paul Oakenfold's latest offering "Hypnotised" which was the highest new entry last week at No 15.
The 2003 remix of the Rolling Stones classic "Sympathy for the Devil" from The Neptunes,Full Phat and Fatboy Slim will surely move on up from its No 13 spot last week (judging by the amount of phonecalls we've had!), and looks set to continue its success from the Cool Cuts & Buzz Charts by going Top 10 this week.

Other big tracks this week are the new Dave Gahan "I Need You" with Gabriel & Dresden which made its debut at No16 this week, and the latest Hybrid which features non-other than the infamous Peter Hook on the original and John Creamer & Stephane K on the remix, which moved from No 38 to No 30 in the chart. Finally with the latest Frou Frou track "It's good to be in love" on Island Records coming up and remixes of the new Terri Walker "Drawing Board" from Kurtis Mantronik (fans of E-Samba are gonna love this!) and lazydog Jay Hannan just around the corner...there's plenty to keep you smiling in the sunshine from Power
