The main target areas are the mainstream high street venues, with the database being fine-tuned to incorporate both full on and pop gay venues alongside your local "Ritzy". When you work with Poparazzi you are guaranteed to hit the mainstream of commercial clubbing, whilst also maximising the potential of your chart profile. Our club promotion service consists of a number of parameters and timescales. Each of your projects will be different; we look at each record on an individual basis, tailoring our services to maximise the potential success of each project. The timescales of a club promotion campaign will vary depending on each track, but we generally like to get the ball rolling approximately five to six weeks before the release date. A regular update will be given to you and you will receive weekly reports comprising of a breakdown of DJ's serviced, the potential weekly audience for your track, collated breakdown of DJ's marks, chart positions, all DJ reactions, reviews and comments from us.
As each campaign is tailored to the clients need, charges vary according to
the amount of records mailed and other relevant parameters involved. We have
some of the most competitive rates in the UK. We are confident in our ability
to deliver success, keeping costs lower by charging scaleable chart bonuses
for positions achieved in the club/national charts. If you wish to request a
proposal or meeting with a Poparazzi representative please contact
This week the buzz continues over Inner City "Big Fun" which could
well be set for a second week at No 1.....yes it does happen and this track
could well do it! Alternatively Jurgen Vries looks set to stay near the top
of the chart for a third week as well, so it could be a simple reversal of last
week's fortunes, although both face stiff competition from Polariod "So
Damn Beautiful" on Decode, or Paul Oakenfold's latest offering "Hypnotised"
which was the highest new entry last week at No 15.
The 2003 remix of the Rolling Stones classic "Sympathy for the Devil"
from The Neptunes,Full Phat and Fatboy Slim will surely move on up from its
No 13 spot last week (judging by the amount of phonecalls we've had!), and looks
set to continue its success from the Cool Cuts & Buzz Charts by going Top
10 this week.
Other big tracks this week are the new Dave Gahan "I Need You" with
Gabriel & Dresden which made its debut at No16 this week, and the latest
Hybrid which features non-other than the infamous Peter Hook on the original
and John Creamer & Stephane K on the remix, which moved from No 38 to No
30 in the chart. Finally with the latest Frou Frou track "It's good to
be in love" on Island Records coming up and remixes of the new Terri Walker
"Drawing Board" from Kurtis Mantronik (fans of E-Samba are gonna love
this!) and lazydog Jay Hannan just around the corner...there's plenty to keep
you smiling in the sunshine from Power
The aim of incorporating a mailing list that solely deals with UK Garage / 2Step within the Power Group is to be able to offer clients an option in their promotional needs. With over ten years of experience under our belts, we have not only built up a very important rapport with DJs throughout the Nation, but have also helped to break records Nationally and via the 'cooler floors' in town
Naturally (as with all of Powers 'specialist' divisions), Pro-Urban guarantees each and every track will be placed into the hands of ALL DJ's relevant to that sound. Whether it's a matter of keeping a track underground, crossing it over, or just servicing exclusive copies to 'Tastemakers', Pro-Urban is now THE division to do so.
The list is a combination of 'Tastemakers', Pirate Radio DJ's, Underground Club DJs and the 'cream of the crop' from the Mainstream/crossover list. Reactions and reports will be 'separate', therefore being able to show clients just exactly how the track is doing in each area of the UK Garage scene. As an added extra, we also guarantee that a copy of the track (if required by the label) is mailed to a number of 'reviewers' in order to hopefully generate reviews in the leading music publications and websites.
