Crunk! is a brand new part of the Power set up and its aim is to work the world's best cutting edge music. We've got off to a good start - the first two promos that we mailed out were LFO's 'Freak' on Warp and Seelenluft's 'Manila' on Back Yard. Both have set the standard for all future projects.

'Manila' currently resides at #1 in the Buzz Chart (Update 13.8.03), #8 in the Cool Cuts (9.8.03), has received universal praise from Pete Tong to Mixmaster Morris and has just picked up it's first day time Radio 1 play from Jo Whiley (8.8.03).

LFO's 'Freak' has also featured in both the Cool Cuts & Buzz charts and enjoyed a #1 in the Zzub Chart (Update 30.7.03). We also seen amazing feedback from the likes of Andrew Weatherall, Tiga, Trevor Jackson, Ewan Pearson & Mark Moore amongst others.

Since those mailouts we have started work on various projects (and have work in the pipeline) from Nelle & P. Diddy (Bad Boy), Fanny Pack (Tommy Boy), Sinema (Island), Chicks On Speed (City Slang), Dub Pistols (Distinctive) and plenty more.

The objective is to bring in what we consider the 'coolest' music - now it can be of any genre be it electro, techno, nu jazz, hip hop or deep house it's just got to have that extra something!

All the jobs are under taken in an up front manner - we don't push our DJs to chart certain promos we just push for honest feedback. This way you will receive an accurate picture of how well your promo is going down in the clubs.

On top of the club mailouts we also offer a specialist radio service. There are no extra costs involved we just mail out to the relevant radio jocks & producers as part of the club mailout.

The objective of the Power Group is to provide a full range of club music promotion and marketing services to run in conjunction with the clients marketing and release strategies. We aim to build relationships, customising our services to the clients needs to obtain the best results for their record. We will work hand in hand with the client, leading to greater success and more profitable results for the record and, ultimately, the label. We believe honesty is always the best policy; if we think a particular single or album is not going to fulfil the hopes of the client then we'll say so. We're not afraid to lose a job today to gain a client tomorrow.

Power was formed in 1989 and soon became one of the leading dance music promotions companies in the UK. In the very early days the company was little more than a mailing service sending a handful of records to DJ's but as the club music scene exploded during the nineties so did the company. The Power Group now consists of many specialist units dealing with the many specialist areas of dance music from Club Promotion, Pop Promotion, Underground Dance, Breakbeat, R n' B and Hip Hop, Specialist Radio, seasonal Balearic Island Promotion. The group also includes the highly successful Videopops Promotions and the superb Power Studios.

Power and Poparazzi have worked on over 300 UK National Top 40 records in the past 4 years. Established in 1989 and still on top over 14 years later.

Generally we will ask the client for a fixed number of records dependent on their budget and the style of music. We then ship these records to our operatives in the Balearics (Ibiza etc), who then distribute those records to the key DJs on the Island. Approximately four weeks later our operatives collect the reaction sheets from the DJs and compile a report on the progress of the record in the Islands clubs. This will then be reported back to the Power HQ and finally to the client. A regular update will be given to the client who will receive comprehensive reports comprising of a breakdown of DJ's serviced, collated breakdown of DJ's marks, chart positions, all DJ reactions, reviews and continuous feedback from us. Our objectives will be to achieve maximum profile, credibility, support and exposure for your track/act through Club play and various other media stemming from the distribution of the record on the Island. The timescales of a Balearic club promotion campaign will vary depending on each track, please contact us to discuss your plans.
